I picked up this little gem this morning and read it in one day It was a good story with a few twists and turns and a few unexpected bits and pieces The characters are great K. Sparks To flamescion A Sheldon does a great job making you love and or loath each one of them Her writing style is what I really enjoyed Written in the first personfor each character it really gave me the opportunity to grow a relationship with each of them Each character tells a piece of the story in their own perspective This is something I really enjoyed There are some saucy bits too so if thats your type of thing this book is for you I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next instalment Sparks To Flames Flame 1 Sparks to Flames is a contemporary romance that involves many complicated relationships Ella and Rick seem like a nice couple and Rick even wants to take her home to meet the family Too bad Rick s sister Shelly is acrimonious and self centered Her instant dislike of and competition with Ella is quite odd and inexplicable Shelly s boyfriend Greyson on the other hand feels an instant spark when he meets Ella. Sparks To Flames bookworm Ella and Greyson are individually likable characters regardless of how you might feel about them getting together when they are technically dating other people Their cheating hearts are much tamer than those of the other main characters In fact I believe every character cheated at one point in or prior to this story The most likable characters are tertiary characters Greyson s family who are consistently loving and supportive of both Greyson and Ella. Book Sparks To flames of war Sparks to Flames is the set up for a planned trilogy It is melodramatic and filled with characters one will either love or hate There are some tried and true plot points as well as some quite unique twists The high drama cliff hanger will have some on the edge of their seats anxiously awaiting the next installment of the series I found the story interesting but not engaging and while I don t know that I would continue with the series I can see its appeal to many readers Sparks To Flames Flame 1 This book had me from Chapter 1 I absolutely loved the characters I have to say that this was a well written book I definitely would recommend this to anyone and I definitely plan on recommending it I cannot wait until the next one comes out K A Sheldon definitely knows how to get the readers attention Sparks To Flames Flame 1 Ella and Rick are going on vacation with Shelly and Greyson Rick s sister and her boyfriend Due to a last minute family issue Ella and Greyson end up traveling together while Rick and Shelly arrive the next day Ella and Greyson acknowledge there are some serious sparks between the two of them but know they are with other people and shouldn t act on their feelings After Shelly and Rick arrive Ella hears Shelly talking with her best friend What she hears is about to turn all of their lives upside down This is book 1 of 3 so it does end with a cliffhanger I enjoyed the story and the way the characters interacted with one another I really like the fact that the bombshell was put out there and not kept a secret for a long period of time Had it not been for the numerous errors I would have given this book 4 stars Chapter 2 was out of sequence because of a misplaced paragraph I actually had to go back and re read that chapter once I realized what had happened There were MULTIPLE times where your was used instead of you re Punctuation was also an issue for me For example.
